Vinicio Barcaccia was born in 1953 in Deruta, where at present lives and works. He graduated at the local State Institute of Art A. Magnini like ‘art teacher’. In 2001, with other local artists, sets up the Art Pottery School Romano Ranieri in Deruta where at present he teaches Shaping (Coil built, Mold and plaster, Throwing wheel).
On behalf of the School Romano Ranieri he’s a Ceramic professor at the Rehabilitation Center for Disabled of Fratta Todina, ‘Speranza’.
Since 2002 works with ‘La Goccia’ Cooperative in Bastia Umbria.
From 1973 to 2010 works as technical support at the State Institute of Art in Deruta.
In December 2011 he organizes a retrospective named ‘L’anima della terra’ at the Museo Dinamico del Laterizio e delle Terrecotte in Marsciano.
He worked with Art Design Company for setting up of stands including: L’Antica Deruta, Magia Delle Lampade in Terni; Pimpinelli Vittorio Ceramiche in Gualdo Tadino; Emporium in Spoleto; Erre Più Erre in Passignano.
He worked with Co Export Group for fitting out of stands to promote Umbrian handicrafts in Singapore, Dubai and Montreal.
