A RESIDENCY AT EUROPEAN CERAMIC WORK CENTRE IN 2010
The European Ceramic Work Centre (.ekwc) in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands invites visual artists, designers and architects to apply for a residency in 2010 and offers plenty of opportunities for creating new ceramic art, design and architecture.
As you have experienced, ceramics is a medium in which new possibilities are continually being discovered.
.ekwc has started again with attracting artists and designers to apply for a residency in 2010. We are using different media to get publicity for the fact that .ekwc offers participants excellent workspace and living space to enable them to work for three months and a team of specialised employees is ready to guide the participants in their work.
It is still a fact that you, as former participants of .ekwc, bring in the best quality applicants through 'word of mouth' advertising. Therefore, you are our best ambassadors. To receive a large amount of high quality applications again, I would like to ask you to inform artists and designers among your colleagues and acquaintances about the possibility of a residency at .ekwc.
Applicants can register for one of the available places in 2010 up until the 15th of April 2009.
It is also possible to apply for a residency for young participants. Candidates under the age of thirty can apply for an residency for young participants. This residency is intended for candidates who graduated less than two years ago from an academy of art and/or design.
The application form and guidelines for an individual residency and a residency for young applicants can be found at http://www.ekwc.nl.
Please forward this information to anyone you know who might be interested!
Thank you very much!
With kind regards,
